When I was
little I had a dog named JJ. She would always stay by my side. When
it come to dating I would expect my daughter's boyfriend to do the
same. If he does not, I will not be happy about it. When my
daughter starts to date, she has to follow my rules.
First, my daughter cannot date guys who are out of high
school. Older guys have more experience and might expect my
daughter to do things she is not ready for. He might have
experience with sex and pressure her to have sex with him. He might
be old enough to drink and want her to drink with him. Dating an
older guy will never be acceptable for my daughter.
Another rule I have for my daughter is her date will not
swear in front of me and my
family. I do not
want to be around a person who swears in every sentence. Swearing
shows disrespect. Swearing shows me a lack of intelligence. If he
swears in front of my daughter she will start swearing. I do not
want someone who swears a lot to be around my daughter.

If it was a
school night she should be home at 10:30. I want her to get enough
sleep, so she can learn better. When it is the weekend, I want her
to be home by midnight. Having a curfew will make it easier for me
to project my daughter.
When I became a
motherI will be
making some rules, about my kids dating. One of my rules will be
how old my daughters date is. Another rule I will have is her day
will speak respect fully in front of me. My last rule is that my
daughter will be home at a reasonable time. He should always stay
by my daughter side just like my dog
