Download a free educational version of AnyLogic Personal
Learning Edition (PLE). Run through the Supply Chain GIS Model
tutorial to understand how the software functions. Your project
will be to explain how the software works.
BONUS: Download the free book from the software. (AnyLogic in
Three Days: Modeling and Simulation Textbook). It may come in handy
when you have an opportunity to spend time learning how to use the
software.
SLP Assignment
Under “Getting Started,” click “open examples” and select one
of the Supply Chains and Logistics Models.
Provide a background on the simulation (1/2 page).
Include a screenshot of the chosen simulation.
While in the example simulation, find the toolbar and click
Model, then Run. Run one Simulation and one Optimization. To begin
the animated simulation, click the “play” button (arrow).
Provide a background on the simulation run (1/2 page).
Include a screenshot of the simulation result.
Provide a background on the optimization run (1/2 page).
Include a screenshot of the optimization result.
Based on what you have learned throughout class, how does
