My overall
target market for Golfers Paradise is any and all golfers and
their families. As I will have a variety of different options
available at my business I am limiting certain golfers from coming.
Since I am in the North Eastern United States that will be my
immediate circle I will target. This circle will grow over time as
brand loyalty and recognition becomes available. With my type
business I have flexibility in targeting more than just pro or
skilled golfers. Golfers Paradise offers items for beginners,
amateurs, and professionals. However, there are still specific
group that I will focus my marketing segmentation on.
These specific groups include: junior golfers, high schools,
colleges, and parents. The first of these groups being junior
golfers. The age can vary from 5 years old up until they start
college. This

If the parents
of a family are interested in golf, and come to Golfers Paradise
they will bring their children which in turn gets the children
interested in golf. As they grow up, they enter into the other
groups of focus, and when they are parents, the cycle repeats. I
will not be targeting based off of income because as an affordable
course, any class of person can play at Golfers Paradise. I will
also not target based off of behavior, specific to only one class
of professional golfers, because any skill level of golfer is
allowed at Golfers Paradise. It will be a public
golf
course, not private like a Country Club which limits who can
enter their course. Based off the groups of interest, the main
market I would focus on is the parent group. This is because
parents bring their kids, and being a family friendly business is
one of the core values of Golfers
