Being a new counselor I probably wouldn't want to try this theory out until I had more experience, but if I were going to jump right into it I would start slow with my client, and figure out why they first came in. I think with this theory you need a specific client because not everyone who comes in needs years of therapy you may have someone with a minimal problem that is just going through a rough patch in life. I would first try to get to know my client and then decide if they need more in depth therapy.
