Platos The
Republic and Thomas Mores Utopia are both influential texts
duringearly socialist period which explore philosophsical and moral
discussions of justice, injustice and freedom in an intension to

that of Plato. Mores ideal society concentrated on the main spirit
of equality and justice whereas Platos desired Republic revolved
around the formation of perfect society, philosopher-king
leadership to govern the society. Despite Mores Utopia was being
written approximately a millennium apart from Platos The
Republic, More simultaneously undermined many aspects of Platos
Republic whist retaining fundamental similarities. These borrowed
forms concluded a discipined social system with superior rulers,
communal shared facilities and a specialised social organization
through rigid traning program, meanwhile, based on interdependence
