The study of
the ethical thinker, Stanley Hauerwas, was about Christian ethics.
Christian ethics in Hauerwass eyes are more about forming
narrative, and the reason why he sees it that way is because of how
ethics is following scripture of the Bible. Hauerwas explaining
that the Christian ethics are going to be more about people
following into this study and relying on the Bible in order to help
them out of certain situations. Hauerwas explains that it is more

explains that the true focus is to explain the Christian ethics is
something that would not be separated from the theology, and is
defined in that alone as a story book. For results of Wilkens
looking over this study he found more of problems with Hauerwass
study. The results showed that Hauerwas was positive about becoming
a better person down the road. As for the negative side of this
study was that there was too much ambiguity about Christians, as
well as the lines between scripture and community is not clear, the
community is never explained by Hauerwas, and lastly, the Christian
story is not a true story. The importance of this study of Hauerwas
is going to be because of the fact there are positive sides, and as
well as negative sides about different ethical studies. Wilkens
explains this as being an important study because of this being
where our lives begin with studies like this. Ethic studies show us
different ways of seeing the world. Hauerwass study on Christian
ethics, has been something that is going to aimed at most believers
as well as he is going to show that Christians morality is more
than following rules and legalism. Hauerwas is more about the
grounding ethics that are about the Scripture and the traditions
that come along with being a Christian. Other things that are going
to be important for this study is that of being able to show that
there are positive things about the Christian ethics, and the
negative that most of the ethic does not explain for us. Hauerwass
is also going to show critics about the Enlightenment model, and
