Some recent efforts that aimed to alleviate the levels ofpoverty have been successful in the past few years. These efforts came from both government andprivate non-profit organizations. Others came from individuals who exercise their call in helpingother people. It is the government's responsibility to start poverty alleviating initiatives as well asproviding a conducive environment for charitable acts.
