vengeance make the perfect cocktail for any juicy or scandalous
story, but so does the concept of a twisted illusion of reality.
Stories of passion such as, Evona Darling written by Silas House
and My Ex-Husband written by Gabriel Spera, are both examples of

descriptively writes a story about the passion of a mothers love
whose heart has been taken away by her childs father, who through
suspicious friends got Evonas custody stripped away from her. On
the other hand, Spera creates her poem in her perspective of being
married to a man that betrayed her and played his cards of deceit
that dissolved their
marriage. Both

mother desperate to take her son back from her ex-mother-in-law and
finds herself determined to get what she has lost, her son. House
writes about Evonas choices descriptively saying, It was all
Evona could do not to stop and help her mother-in-law up, to help
her, but she reminded herself of what was more important (House).
Evonas persistence to enter the house and steal back her son
showed the same dedication of Spera who stares at her ex-husbands
portrait in My Ex-husband. Spera writes, But snapshots dont show
whats beneath the skin! (Spera). The woman awakes from her
illusion and states how even though he seems like a perfect catch
no number of photos could show the true man that is pictured. Both
women have the flaw of not being able to see the reality until it
strikes their hearts so hard they are forced to see
