Although some
researchers had studied sexual behavior before Kinseys, his
research in the early part of the 19th century on the male and
females perception of sexual behavior as a pioneer approach. While
teaching a newly formed curriculum on sex education, in Indiana,
1937; Kinsey decided additional research was necessary to clarify
the definition of
human
sexuality. Using the survey approach, he was able to format the
questions in such a way that over 17,000 people were comfortable in
describing their sexual behaviors.
Kinsey determined women liked sex, and most had experienced
an organism. In addition, same gender sex was happening, children
not only experienced sexual feelings, they acted on them,
