I am going to need some help completing this unit 2
assignment for my Technological Revolution class. If you notice in
the assignment overiew it asks that we use for the timeline
technological developments for our career field. That career
field for me would be Finance and if you wanted to go within more
detail I am in accounts payable. Please note that there are 2 parts
to this assignment but all of the instructions for both are

Unit 2 Assignment – Technological Revolution
Assignment Overview
The Unit 2 Assignment will challenge you to explain how
individual experiences related to technology influence workplace
culture. You will develop a timeline that shows the introduction of
four (4) technological innovations that you believe had the
greatest impact on shaping the workplace culture of your career
field. Then, you will write a brief essay to explain how each of
the elements on the timeline is related to some aspect of the
workplace culture in your career field.
Part 1: Develop a timeline of technology innovations
using either Smart Art or Shapes in Microsoft
Word.
Develop a timeline that illustrates the introduction of four
(4) technological developments made during the last twenty 25 years
that influenced the workplace culture of today. You are encouraged
to include the two examples that you used as the basis for your
Unit 2 Discussion.
Include the name of the technology, the name of the inventor,
and the year in each segment of the timeline.
Include a citation within each segment of the timeline to
give credit to the source of the information contained in that
segment. Include the full reference for the information on the
Reference page.
Part 2: Write a 300–500-word essay that describes each element
of the timeline and explains the link between each of the
technologies and the present-day workplace culture.
Begin the essay with an introduction that includes a
referenced description of how you perceive workplace culture to be
in the present times. The introduction should include your
substantiated ideas about the values, beliefs, symbols, language
and norms that make up of the culture today’s workplace.
The body of the essay should explain in detail how each the
individual’s use of these technological innovations has affected
workplace culture. The essay should include one referenced
paragraph to describe the development and effect of each
innovation.
End the essay with a conclusion that summarizes the main
points of your essay and makes a statement about how workplace
culture would be different if these technological developments had
never been introduced.
The essay must be written in APA formatted style, with
in-text citations to at least two academic references. These
references may include the textbook, the readings for this unit, or
another academic reference retrieved from the Library.
