It is now one of the most widely used boat companies in the United
States. Thousands of Americans now rely on the Ranger Boats
durability and reliability to get to and from their fishing spots
swiftly and safely. These boats get people fishing in many
different settings. However, fishing in fresh water is superior to
saltwater fishing in that freshwater fishing is accessible to more
people, it is less expensive, and it is safer.
First, fishing in fresh water is better than fishing in salt water because it is more accessible to a wider variety of people. To begin, more people live by freshwater lakes than the ocean coast. In addition, the sheer number of ponds, lakes, rivers, and reservoirs makes fishing and accessibility of freshwater fishing much easier than fishing in salt water. Furthermore, a large boat is not always required to fishfresh water as it is with saltwater fishing. To begin, it is much quicker and easier to get off a freshwater lake if inclement weather should arise. Furthermore, in salt water there are many more poisonous fish and other potentially harmful species such as: blowfish, lionfish, and stingrays. Also, if any problems should arise, it is much farther to medical attention when fishing in salt water. Many times when saltwater fishing the fisherman may travel upwards of 40 miles offshore on a daily basis. Safety is just one more reason why fishing in fresh water is a better choice than saltwater
