I took a couple
tests on MyPlan, which were supposed to help me find a career that
would fit me. The tests (Career Assessments, 2017) determine your
personality, interests, skills, and values in a career. The tests
(Career Assessments, 2017) will then score you in different
categories depending on your answer choices Repor. For the
personality test (Career Assessments, 2017), I scored 53%
extroverted and 47% introverted, which describes my social
abilities. Being more extroverted, I tend to be social. On the
second part of the test, I scored 67% intuitive and 33% sensor,
which describes my mental preference for processing information.

investigative, I tend to be inquisitive, analytical, and
scientifically-minded. Things that tend to be meaningful to me as
an investigative person are knowledge, independence, and
intelligence. Since I am also a social person, I tend to also help,
care for, and help teach others. Things that tend to be important
to me as a social person are relationships, trust, family,
friendships, and goodwill. Again, I find these results (Career

(Career Assessments, 2017), my top career category was
management, second is engineering & architecture, and third is
healthcare practitioners & technical. The results explain that
based on the choices I made on the test, I have exceptional basic,
social, problem solving, management, and technical skills. I
strongly disagree with the results I received on this test, due to
the fact that I do not have exceptional technical and management

The results
explain that according to my choices on the test, I value
achievement the most and value support the least. I scored low on
support, because I dont like people helping me, due to the fact
that I am a person who is more independant and prideful, than a
person who is more dependent and extroverted. The results were
considerably close to each other in terms of score. I do somewhat
disagree with some of the results, due to the fact that I
personally tend to value recognition more than relationships, but
for the most part, I think the results (Career Assessments, 2017)
were decently accurate on my perception of values on a job. The
accuracy of the results combined were inaccurate, because when I
composited my score, my highest recommended career was an
orthodontist (Career Assessments, 2017). I actually want to be a
history professor. MyPlan was helpful, but to a certain point. I
say this because some of the results I received were inaccurate,
