The metaphor
that I picked is a game of doge ball. I believe that it really does
represent the life that someone dealing with bi polar really lives.
I have only one person left on one team which is the person that is
dealing with bi polar disorder. On the other side I have a full
team with people aiming the ball at the only person left on the
other side. They are the people that are judgmental and do not
really understand what the other person on the other side is really
dealing with. They believe that the bi polar person is either
really just mean and does not care about anything that comes their
way or that they are just really timid and scared. Not really
understanding what the bi polar person is really going through. The
balls that they are throwing at that person represent what
emotionthe
bipolar person is going to have for the time being. You never know
what you are going to get until it hits you.

The person that
is off to the side and say you can dodge them all is that one
person that is always by their side and pushing them to do better
and to try and push through all the negative things that are going
on. They are the one and true friend to these individual. The
spectators are just representing all the people that just look
around and do not really
mindwhat is going
on but they are there observing everything not saying a word. The
light represents how the bipolar person feels. They feel like they
are the center of attention at some point. Not in a good way. They
feel like they are being targeted by everyone, even though they are
not. They just want that spotlight to be taken off of them. The
game of dodge ball is really how a bipolar person lives there life.
You never know which ball is going to hit you at any
given
