In addition to any feedback you received from me regarding your thesis/outline, use information/feedback from CR #5 and CR #6 in order to craft your rough draft. Also, be sure you have read the Guidelines for Essay #2 very carefully before drafting.
Please submit a PDF version of your rough draft here by uploading the document from your computer so the images display correctly. Use the following highlighting pattern in Microsoft Word or Google Docs, and be sure to use lighter versions of these colors so that I can read your draft. While the final draft must be 1,500-2,500 words, you should aim for a minimum of 1,000 words for this rough draft. Please note that this draft will be graded credit/no-credit and awarded 1 point per 100 words, up to 10 points. Once you have submitted your rough draft here, you will then provide feedback to a minimum of two peers. Please start with a peer who does not have feedback yet so that everyone gets at least one peer review. Please read the directions carefully below since this is a different style discussion assignment that our usual ones. You’ll note that this entire assignment is worth 20 points. 10 points for a draft submission, and 5 points for each peer you respond to. Keep in mind that because these peer groups are smaller, if you’re the first person to post, you will likely have to check back a few times before you see other submissions. Also, like last time, I will award you 3 extra credit points for each peer review you complete beyond the required two.
