Cavendish grants her luminary- the Empress- multiple notably important roles in order to establish feminine insights in a male-minded and dominated society of 1666- one that usually discredits or undervalues the voice of women with scientific insights simply because of their gender. Cavendish does this in order to discontinue sexism through creating a new world led by a women.
