Choose a specific disorder from any of the psychological disorders (ex. bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, obsessive compulsive disorder, etc.) that we’ve covered in your textbook that you would like to learn more about.Research the disorder and write a paper detailing the following: description of the disorder, causes of the disorder, and current treatments for the disorder.Your paper should be 3-5 pages in length (not including the references page), double spaced with 1 inch margins, and use 12 point New Times Roman font. You MUST include a reference page and cite references properly using APA style in the body of your paper. You can use the textbook as a reference, but you will also need an ADDITIONAL THREE SCHOLARLY REFERENCES (books, journal articles, websites, etc.).The reference MUST be scholarly! Do NOT use general information sites such as Wikipedia. Websites with an address that ends in .edu (colleges and universities), or .gov (government agencies such as the National Institutes of Mental Health), and sometimes .org (check with me on the .org sites, because some are not considered scholarly) are generally considered scholarly. You can use the online portal for the GPC library, or go to the library to do your research.
