I am excited to
see an opening for a Public Health Assistant, and I hope to be
invited for an interview. I am currently a Health Science Major at
CUNY York College. I have taken numerous course including
microbiology, organic chemistry, basic concepts of health
professions, medical terminology, and public
health. In the
future, I want to go into
medical
school, I feel that this experience will be beneficial in the
future.
Most currently, I worked as a clerical associate in a high
volume Human Resources department, where my responsibilities
included answering phone calls and relaying messages. During my
internship, I learned about confidentiality as well as working
knowledge of HIPAA, Patient Bill of Rights, Fire Safety, Infection
Control,
