Joannie
recently joined the ministerial staff of her church, and the
members are really warming up to her. Pastor Micheals and
Joannies family are very close friends; since elementary school
and are raising their families in the same town. Their children
attend the same elementary school and are around the same age;
Joannie has two boys and the Pastor has one son and a girl.
Meanwhile, Joannie and her husband are beginning to develop a close
bond with another couple in the church, Kennedy, and McKenzie
Brown, who also have a son attending the same school as their
children. Bobby is a shy 11-year-old fifth grader and he and the
Pastors son hang out a lot after school since they both live in
the same neighborhood. Over the course of six months,

After Joannie
agrees McKenzie reveals that her son Bobby told her and Kennedy
that the Pastors son has been touching him inappropriately during
services in the church bathroom. McKenzie is disheartened and
confused because Bobby also told her that he had informed the
Pastor but nothing was done. Kennedy is angry with McKenzie because
she refuses to confront the Pastor or leave the church. Although
Kennedy is not returning and has agreed to let McKenzie handle the
situation the information is driving a wedge in their
marriage.
Also, Bobby has just been expelled from his school because of
sexual misconduct. McKenzie feels obligated to attend the church
with her son because the Pastor has been helpful with picking him
up after school, the church has helped them pay their rent when
Kenny was out of a job, and McKenzie is the Childrens Church
Leader. Not to mention the Pastor just lost his father and is busy
making funeral arrangements. McKenzie feels lost and is asking
Joannie for advice. Should McKenzie leave the church? Should She
confront the Pastor about what his son has been doing
to
