Cause and
Effect Paper- Attitude effects success:A persons attitude can have
a positive impact on many areas of their life such as their
success, their health, and their happiness. If someone has a good
attitude, he will have a more positive outlook on life which will
set him up for success. If one adopts having a good attitude as a
way of life, it will bring many changes into his life. If someone
has a good attitude, he will most likely become very successful.
One of the hardest things to do in life is to not complain, but in
order to be successful, complaining is out of the question. In the
book Outliers by Malcom Gladwell, chapter nine is about a school
program called KIPP Academy where students go to school for almost
twelve hours every day. These students have to be positive towards
their school in order to be successful. They dont wake up every
day and complain to their parents about how much they hate school.
They simply get up, get ready, and go to school with a positive
attitude set for the day. KIPP students go to school 243 days out
of 365 days in the year. Other students, the students that go to
public schools and have a break to celebrate all four of the
seasons, have time to lose information during those breaks. KIPP
students have an extra three weeks of school every year when
compared to normal public school students. According to Daniel R.
Forbes, ninety-three percent of KIPP students, who completed eighth
grade at a KIPP school, have

The book
Outliers tells its readers that it is possible for one to be
successful because of his attitude. The town of Roseto,
Pennsylvania, in this book, had people who had great health because
of their attitude toward living. The book also gives the readers a
goal of 10,000 hours of practice to become completely happy in
completion of their hard work. This book is a good example of how
attitude can affect many things in a persons
