Imagine having
to balance basketball, stubborn teammates, homework, tutoring,
fashion shows, daily practices, career stress, and above all that,
guy drama, in your everyday life. In the non-fiction teen novel,
Head Games by Keri Mikulski were introduced to Taylor Thomas who
has to go through just that. Taylor Thomas is a total all-star on
the
basketballcourt. Off-court, not so much. As the novel
progresses we get to know Taylor better and can identify with the
everyday obstacles she has to endure and throughout it all, she
shows herself to be determined, naive and loyal.

she seems really unaware by commenting on everyone's post all the
time, its also a really positive quality that proves that shes
extremely loyal and kind towards her teammates and friends. There
are plenty of reasons why shes the most trustworthy character in
the book. To begin, she agreed to be a model for the school Fashion
Show for her best friend Hannah. Regardless the point that shes
totally not model material and is insecure about her appearance.
Moreover, she was made fun of and never felt comfortable or welcome
in that environment. However, she did not quit only because she
wanted Hannah to have someone display her designs that she worked
extremely hard on. Second of all, between all the basketball
practices and stress plus the crazy guy drama. The girls
basketball team agreed to not let any of the guys distract them
until the basketball season is over. Even though, Taylor really
wanted to spend time with Zach after he asked her out and the fact
that hes been her life-long crush, Taylor decided to drop the
plans in order to stay faithful toward her teammates. To add on,
when one of Taylor's teammates was being kicked off the team she
decided she would quit too if her teammate can't stay because a
