Lizabeth Hernandez November 8, 2016 Third Hour Youth manipulated by Hitler in Germany

Germany’s generation from 1933 to around 1945 played a significant role since Hitler manipulated their school system to get the students to believe what he wanted them to. The youth were sent to concentration camps if Hitler believed their race was unworthy.They were also separated from their family if their parents got in Hitler’s way. Germany’s youth helped Hitler begin a stronger Reichstag for their country.
One of Hitler’s beliefs was that there were worthy and unworthy races. “Children learned about “worthy” and “unworthy” races, about breeding and hereditary disease.”(Simkin,2016). The youth had to meet certain requirements in order to know if their race was worthy or unworthy. Jews were seen as a threat to the German Economy. Hitler knew that if he had the mind and heart of the youth his mission would be that much more possible. He knew that the youth were strong in physique and mind and he made sure they believed their race was more superior than the rest. There were four central themes that Hitler had educators prioritize. “Central themes in the new teaching including courage in battle, sacrifice for a greater cause, boundless admiration for the Leader and hatred of Germany’s enemies, the Jews.” Wilhelm Frick claimed. The outcome of Hitler’s new curriculum was a success. The youth of the Reichstag were loyal to their leader and Germany in every aspect, to the extent of building massive hatred towards Jews and reporting those who defended or protected
