He later on announced that a current flowingthrough a conductor generates a magnetic field. Michael Faraday, meanwhile,discovered that a changing magnetic field generates an electrical field. These twoformed the foundation for James Clerk Maxwell to develop the Unified Theory ofElectromagnetism, in which he discovered that a change in electric field generates amagnetic field (Kashy et al., 2020).
