How you ever
been excluded? Has there ever been a group of people that shut you
out just because you dont feel the same way? Have you ever felt so
left out, that youd do anything to fit in? Did you cave in the
midst of the pressure? You probably did. You threw your thoughts
and feelings out the window to feel equal. This is called Peer
Pressure or Group Influence. It affects one's thoughts, feelings,
decisions, and their beliefs, especially when they are alone or
isolated. Isolation is when you are alone or cast aside. This
usually happens when you are in disagreement with a partys
beliefs, thoughts, or actions. Isolation can influence individual
or group decisions by casting them aside, trying to change or
convince them, or scaring them into changing their thoughts.

everyday, but when youre alone, thats when the wheels in your
mindtruly start
turning. You feel lonely, and you start to wonder why. Obviously,
you did something wrong. You start to judge yourself, make
decisions about things that havent happened, or change your mind.
In the beginning of the book The Wave, Laurie Saunders was
skeptical about the whole Wave movement, but she went along with it
because everyone else did and because she felt like she was by
herself resisting The Wave. This is the main goal of isolation, to
kick you out and to make you feel like you are alone. The most
common thing we, as humans, want is to be around people. This
sudden change makes you want to belong. It makes the part of us
that wants to be associated with someone or something long to
