Ancient Romes events led to spread of Christianity around the
world. To begin, Rome did not like Christianity until Cincinnatus a
well-known and respected leader baptized before his death. This was
a great awakening to many Romans because they saw Cincinnatus as a
role model. Christian leaders in Rome were sent to jail in which
they would face death later for not believing in roman gods.
Christianitywent from two hundred thousand Christians to 6
million in only a couple of years. This new movement scared Roman
leaders. Pliny was the governor of Bithynia Et Pontus within the
Roman
Empire; he wrote letters to other roman leaders expressing his
awareness of the rapid spread of Christianity. He was aware that
Christians did not
