Caroline Borzdynski is a Registered Nurse and PhD student at La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia, where she works as Nurse Educator. Caroline completed her Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) degree in 2014. Carolines Honours thesis was based on the reliability and validity of a quantitative skin diagnostic device in pressure ulcer risk assessment among geriatric aged-care residents. Caroline hopes her research will help advance clinician understanding of pressure ulcer risk assessment methods aimed at curbing prevalence rates. At present, Caroline is exploring the efficiency of biophysical skin diagnotic devices in the context of skin status
