Hey Everyone!
Today I'm reviewing This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen. Sarah
Dessen is one of my favorite authors. I always hunt for her book
and they always leave me with a happy feeling. I only disliked one
out of all her books.
For starters something I really enjoyed about this book were
the characters. I
thoughtthey
were very developed and very "humanized". Remy quickly my favorite
character of the Sarah Dessen books. Of course I
loveall the other
characters, but I really liked Remy. I was really fond of her
because she was very smart, yet she wasn't a "good kid". She used
to smoke, drink all the time, and go home with different guys. I
really liked how she overcame the stereotypes teachers labeled her.
Also she was the "
mother" to her

Sarah Dessen's books, it's really predictable. Some people may
dislike it, but I LOVE the way she writes her storylines. Normally
it's about a who has girl has a specific quirk or issue in life and

before I go to sleep because they make me smile and feel happy. I
don't want her to ever change her book plot lines. For This Lullaby
the storyline was cute, but not much happened. To some people, they
may not like that but it oddly appeals to me. Although I didn't
really liked the way the "Albert situation" was displayed so
dramatically in one chapter but wasn't brought up again. It felt
out of place. I understood what was going on and how it shaped
Remy, but I think Sarah Dessen should have mentioned more through
out her book. For example: "I knew I had to have the upper hand, I
couldn't let what happened with Albert, happen to me again." I
liked the way Remy and Dexter met. It was funny and super cute. I
liked Remy with her friends and their Zip Drinks, it really
showcased the traditions and bond between the group. Of course the
spilling of the drink on Don was the
