Also, the ranking of the campus was the worst of the 14 colleges inFlorida included in the study. As stated by Anon (2019), they analyze crime rates, look at violent and non-violentincidents. Based on the above information, this study aims at exploring the cause and the impactof crime on the population of USF.Crime Rate at USFAccording to Anon (2019), the rate of crime at the USF campus has been high compared to otheruniversities in the country. For 2017, the security safety report showed eight cases of rape, onecase of other sex offenses, three cases of domestic violence, 13 cases of dating violence, fourcases of stalking, one case of robbery, 17 burglaries, 10 assaults, one case of arson and 20 casesof motor vehicle thefts (Anon, 2019).
